New appointment gives boost to Family Law and Divorce team

The already outstanding levels of expertise within Wards Solicitors' Family Law and Divorce team have been further enhanced by the arrival of solicitor Emma Willott who is joining the Bristol office.

Covering central Bristol and Henleaze, Emma - who has nearly 20 years' experience providing advice and guidance in family law cases - will work alongside Partner, Alison Bradley, the head of the team.

Emma, who recently stood in for Jessica Williams in our Keynsham office whilst she was on maternity leave, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role.

Specialised

She has specialised solely in divorce and family law since qualifying in 1999, dealing extensively with everything from divorce and civil partnership dissolution, related financial settlements and pre and post nuptial agreements to resolving the sensitive issues involved in living and contact arrangements for children and obtaining protection for clients when there is violence in the home.

Emma says: "I always aim to offer a service which is not only practical and constructive but also supportive to clients at what is usually a difficult and stressful time for them.

"Clients tell me that I have been understanding at a very emotional time but have also explained clearly the legal processes they are involved in and the options available to them with the minimum amount of jargon."

Emma, like all the lawyers in Wards Solicitors' Family Law and Divorce team, is also a member of Resolution, the national organisation of family lawyers committed to non-confrontational divorce, separation and other family problems.
